EUREC Agency presents the results of its
technology transfer promotion project ProRETT at the Committee
of the Regions during the European Sustainable Energy Week.
Policy recommendations and good practice for effective support
to the innovation process from research to market - lessons
learnt from 63 real-life cases
The commercial maturity of R&D results can be assessed
for five main topics: technology, market, business model,
teams, and financing. Empirical evidence shows that targeted
innovation support services can help in achieving commercial
maturity.
The presentations will illustrate the most typical shortcomings
of publicly funded R&D results in terms of commercial
maturity for each topic. They will make concrete suggestions
for policy-level and programme-level measures to promote
quicker and broader market update of research results.
EUREC Agency invites stakeholders from politics, research
and finance to a half-day workshop organised in the frame
of the European Sustainable Energy Week.
